Once players assign minions to a resource collector they must wait a certain amount of time before they can collect the resource from that collector. So basically at each station players can assign a certain amount of minions depending on what level they are because higher levels allow players to unlock more slots to allow more minions on a resource collector. When players first start off in the game the first resource buildings they have are the coconut tree, gas pit, bamboo forest and the giant clam. I have touched upon it in the first few paragraphs of the article but resources are the main way anything can be done in the game. Most of the game is centered around completing missions assigned as Phil’s Tiki Bar where he assigns players a missions or some of the other famous missions sit down and assign players a specific mission dependent on their character. The only other thing the player will do with these controls are moving around buildings that they unlock. The controls are quite simple because all the player is doing is tapping on trees and pits to collect resources like gas and coconuts. Starting off the game may seem intimidating but it is actually quite in simple in that most of the missions are just collecting resources or building objects and getting sand dollars or doubloons in return ( currency in the game). Luckily he drifts on to an island, with the players help Phil must create an island paradise to please his minion friends who will arrive on the island few by few from the sunken ship. So the minimal, but present, storyline in this game is that the minions were going to go on vacation on a cruise liner but the clumsy minion named Phil ruins their vacation when he accidentally sinks the ship. Electronic Art’s new game Minions Paradise sandbox simulation kind of game where the player customizes the island to their personal liking and along the way they will have to complete missions and have fun playing mini games to please all of the minion residents on the island. With the recent release of the Minions movie ( I recently went to see this movie and I highly recommend it, it is hilarious!), Electronic Arts has come out with a new IOS game dedicated solely to the minions and their mischief around the globe. The app itself is free, and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. The minions from the Despicable Me franchise have always been beloved characters because of their adorable, mischievous, and clumsy nature. Minions Paradise does have in-app purchases, but as long as you’re patient, you really don’t need to spend any money. Throwing parties means you get to watch the Minions dance and giggle, which is endlessly entertaining! The game is also filled with the adorably quirky Minion humor and characters you’ve grown to know and love from the movies – like Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, which makes waiting for the timers not so terrible. Plus, how many games allow you to make a flamethrower just for funsies?! You even get to help out the Villains by building them a vacation destination of their own. You can use the decorations like hot tubs and hammocks to customize the island however you like to turn it into the best vacation spot ever. There’s also lots of buildings, decorations, and Minions to unlock. There’s lots of fun mini games to play like waterskiing with an alligator and sliding down water slides. Phil will keep you busy with lots of quests to complete, each of which earns you sand dollars and party points and keeps the game moving. This will keep them busy and also help you out by working at the different locations you build around the island, so you can continuously earn more sand dollars, party points, party supplies, and other various items. (also a great real-life strategy when someone is mad at you!) Once the Minions are on your side, you can keep them happy and distracted with Distractivities. You’ll need to turn their attitude around by showering them with gifts and food. When the Minions arrive on the island, they’re not too thrilled with Phil. Watch Phil ruin everything in the trailer here. In Minions Paradise, you’ll help Phil turn the bare island into a party paradise for all of his friends. Bello! The long anticipated Minions Paradise finally hit app stores yesterday, and it’s definitely worth the wait! All the Minions get really mad at Phil when he accidentally sinks their cruise ship and gets them stranded on a deserted island, and Phil needs to do everything he can to turn things around and make everyone like him again.
